Happy Birthday, Sara!

We have 3 birthdays in February. Today is #2.....Sara turns 2! Sara is such a funny little girl and loves to entertain her siblings. Most people don't know this about her because she is still a bit shy when we are out in public. When they visit us in our home, they are amazed at the transformation.

I wrote a birthday prayer for Sara, just like I did for Jesi.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today we celebrate the 2^nd birthday of our youngest daughter, Sara. As she continues to grow in stature, we ask that you help us teach her how to Serve you with gladness and come before your presence with singing.(Psalm 100:2) For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, Abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.(Psalm 86:5) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we ask that she always Remember the name of the LORD her God.(Psalm 20:7) For the LORD Most High is Awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2)

Your Eyes saw her substance, being yet unformed. In Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for her, when as yet there were none of them. (Psalm 139:16) You search out her path and her Lying down and are acquainted with all her ways. (Ps 139:3) May she always say “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:14) Blessed be the LORD from Zion, he who dwells in Jerusalem! Praise the LORD! (Psalm 135:21) Though an army encamp against me, may my heart not fear; though war Arise against me, yet I will be confident. (Psalm 27:3) For Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. ” (Psalm 128:1) Let Sara praise your name, O LORD, for your name alone is exalted; Your glory is above the Earth and heaven. (Psalm 148:13) Be her strength and her shield; may her heart Trust in you. (Psalm 28:7a) For You are her Hope, O Lord GOD; You are her trust from her youth. (Psalm 71:5)
